With Filmic Art, the viewer will turn their flat-screen-TV into breathtaking digital art with motion. Rather than focusing on still images, fireplaces or aquariums, the viewer will now use the flat-screen for what it is supposed to do - show moving images with aesthetic beauty.

Just as in ordinary painting, the program put significant work into modulating light and color and is seen best when shown on premium flat-screens TVs. What we do is not video and it is not static photos, rather it is something new and novel - a truly ambient sensory experience.

The work is ideal when one wants to use the flat-screen-TV as a light source, but without the attention regular broadcast TV demands. It gives viewers the ability to enjoy a variety of modern, digital art that will stimulate conversation while providing subtle background to any social gathering or environment. Filmic Art is also a valuable asset for interstitial use as filler or for transitions.
