#101 Energy & Electricity
Join us for an “energizing” adventure to learn about energy and electricity. What do tools; appliances, factories and everything from IPods to Airplanes all have in common?  Each one needs energy to do their jobs.  What is energy? Often electricity comes from an outlet in the wall.   We find out how it works by tracing the electricity from the wall through the “grid” to its source.  How is it generated, what makes it travel through wires and what path does it take to get where we need it.  How does it work? There is a lot to learn about energy and electricity…come along!

#102 Astronomy & Space
Staring into space is something people do all the time. Our solar system is so fascinating! What causes the sun to set and the moon to rise?  What are constellations?  How big is the universe?  In this adventure, we speak to astronomers, look through gigantic telescopes and learn all about our solar system and the universe. 

#103 Weather & Climate
We experience weather and seasons everyday, but what forces are at work that causes them to change?  What is the “engine” that changes our weather?  What factors control if it’s fall or summer, warm or cold, sunny or wet? Come along as we learn all about weather and our climate!  What causes; rain, snow, lightening, tornadoes, and hurricanes?  Will it be sunny or cold tomorrow? Hear from weather experts and learn about how they “try” to forecast the weather.

#104 Rocks, Minerals & Earth
Let’s learn about volcanoes, mines, caves, rocks and minerals, from the mystery of the earths structure to volcanoes and earthquakes.  Gold and diamonds are precious, but what are they and where are they found?  We spend time with miners and go deep inside the earth looking for precious rocks and minerals. What are stalactites and stalagmites? 

#105 Nutrition & Exercise
No one argues the value of good nutrition and regular exercise, but is it easy to make the right choices?  What is good food and where does it come from?  How does our digestive system work?  What is exercise and why is exercise so beneficial to our bodies?  We speak to the experts and look at some interesting examples to help answer these questions.  As we go, we uncover many mysteries to help you make the right choices!

#106 Flight
How does a bird fly?  How does a jumbo jet stay in the sky?  In this adventure, we discover how things fly.  We learn about how forces in nature; gravity, lift, thrust and drag affect flight.  What is it like to fly a jumbo jet or a jet fighter?  We meet pilots and fly with them to learn all about flight.  All the mysteries about flying and airplanes are uncovered and explained in this adventure.

#107 Ocean & Beaches
Uncover the secrets of the seashore and the earth’s incredible oceans. There is so much we don’t know about our oceans and beaches!  Some of the most unique animals live in the ocean.  We look at some extraordinary marine life and make some great discoveries. How do fish breathe?  Why is the water so salty? What exactly is a seashell and how was it home to an unusual creature?  From tide pools to the deepest oceans, we learn about how important these worlds are!

#108 Flowers, Plants & Trees
We need plants to survive!  With plants, nature does amazing things! What is a plant? There are so many sizes, shapes, colors and types.  How do they grow?  What is pollination?  How do we get syrup from some trees?  Can a plant eat a live fly?  From little seeds to big trees, we investigate what a plant is, find out how they support all other life, and discover what tricks they have to survive and help the planet.

#109 Cats & Dogs
Dogs and cats are so cuddly and cute, but what do we really know about them?  There are so many types and breeds.  Are wolves and foxes related to dogs?  What about lions and tigers? Are they cats?  Discover how special breeds of domestic dogs have developed and how dogs are trained to help humans. Learn why cats need whiskers, why cats can climb so easily and how cats purr.  Why has the black cat been both persecuted and pampered and why cats are said to have nine lives?  There’s so much to learn about the fascinating world of our “best friends”.

Wow!  Castles are so fascinating. Come along on this adventure to tour some of the neatest historical castles in the world.  We visit castles from the middle ages and discover what life was like, how they were built and how they affected our history.  See a medieval bathroom, a giant crossbow and how prisoners were kept in dungeons. Learn how castles got their water, how the guns worked, and why round towers were better than square ones. Discover how enemies climbed castle walls, what was on the menu at a typical banquet, why Crusader castles were so well built.  So much to see and learn!

#111 Firefighters & Fire Trucks
Put on your boots; hop in the fire truck and race off to a 5-alarm fire!  Join us to learn about the thrilling world of fire trucks, fire equipment & fire fighting.  Follow firefighters from siren to rescue in this exciting adventure featuring a variety of rescue machines from fire trucks to ambulances, lifeboats to rescue helicopters.  Learn about firefighters and what they do.  How do you become a fire fighter?  What is all that gear they wear when battling a fire? Come along as we explore the world of fire fighting. 

#112 Dinosaurs
Extinct, but still fascinating and popular!  Dinosaurs have been extinct for millions of years, so how do we know they ever lived?  Come along as we go exploring for dinosaur bones.  We find out how archeologists discover these bones and how they reconstruct huge skeletons to see what they looked like.  Imagine being there as we unearth a real dinosaur bone.  What type of dinosaur was it, what did it eat and how did it live?  Perhaps it was a Giant Mammoth or a Tyrannosaurus?  We visit neat places and talk to experts to answer all our questions about the strange world of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.

#113 Electronics & Computers
Explore the fast-moving world of electronics, and discover what makes computers and other electronics work.  Learn what a transistor is, what common item goes on inside telephones, TVs, and computers. See how electrons move and why they are so critical.  How do computers work?  What is a hard drive? What are chips? Can robots replace humans? Electronics and computers are modern miracles.  We explore this technology up close to uncover how it all works.  We even take a fun peek at what it was like to “compute” in a pre-electronic world.
