| Over the course of a year, a crew followed
Lisa, a captive African elephant, through her exhausting and challenging
pregnancy. This is not the first time Lisa has been pregnant, but
if successful, it will be the first calf to survive.
Labor of Love takes you on a heartfelt journey and an in-depth
look at captive breeding elephants. It also explores the emotional
aspects of not only the human caretakers but the elephants as well.
