Sit and Be Fit's exercise program is fun, easy and safe for people of all ages. Programs focus on therapeutic exercises that make everyday activities easier to perform. Host Mary Ann Wilson RN designs programs with the help of physical therapists, using creative choreography and a diverse selection of music. Her warmth reaches out to people of all fitness levels and ages. She inspires them to exercise and they consider her their exercise partner. Sit and Be Fit attracts a widely diverse audience. Everyone from older adults and children to healthy active adults. The exercises are also perfect for those managing weight, people with chronic conditions or physical limitations, and those recovering from injury. Sit and Be FIt has aired on US public television for over 25 years and currently broadcasts to over 66 million US households every year.
