Sport Fishing On The Fly, hosted by Don Freschi, is filmed in beautiful high definition, primarily on the pristine rivers and lakes of western Canada. Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and spectacular wildlife, Don shares his experiences, tips, and tricks as he fishes everything from fast moving rivers, to dead calm lakes and vast open oceans.

One of the most popular aspects of SFOTF is the fly tying segment “On the Bench”. Most episodes feature this segment, which has Don tying both simple and complex flies and explaining the entire process in extraordinary detail while making it easy to follow along and replicate the effective patterns he features on the shows.

Don hosts the show with guests such as his brother, Dale Freschi, Brian Chan of the Freshwater Fishing Society of British Columbia., Dwayne D'Andrea of Mountain Valley Sports Fishing, or guides local to the area. The show always places a heavy emphasis on effective flies and fly-fishing techniques, as well as the conservation of our environment and the protection of the wildlife that inhabit it.
