Xtreme Church Makeover looks at how the renovation of one small church in a distressed San Diego neighborhood was accomplished by a committed group of Christian volunteers. From the initial planning, through construction to an unprecedented street celebration, the film captures the faith, the fun, even the foul-ups, by people all working together to give glory to God.

Led by Maranatha Chapel and Impact Urban America, a team of volunteers provided the materials, equipment and labor to renovate tiny Faith Tabernacle in San Diego’s inner-city Mount Hope neighborhood. In just six days, the small church was beautifully transformed; dozens of volunteers shared an experience they won’t forget; and the neighborhood witnessed an unprecedented outpouring of love and caring that is turning hearts to Christ.
