John McLean Media was started in April of 1999 by its president, John McLean, following his 10 years with West 175 Enterprises (a producer of lifestyle cooking programs for the US public television system including Graham Kerr’s Kitchen, Cucina Amore with Nick Stellino and the BBC co-production Great Food). The company represents largely independent producers of video content from all over the world to buyers and distributors of broadcast, satellite and cable television, Video on Demand and home video material. The company’s growing list of international clients includes Artsworld UK, BBC Worldwide, Discovery International, France 5, Globosat Brazil, ITV Digital Channels UK, RAISAT Italy, TVB Hong Kong, Living Channel New Zealand and Voice of America. John McLean Media is located in Seattle, Washington, USA and exhibits at the major international television markets including MIPTV, MIPCOM and NATPE.
