JMM Brings New Episodes Of Biz Kid$ To MIPCOM Along With Fresh New Batches of MMA, Action Sports and Outdoors Programming.

Seattle, WA. Independent Distributor John McLean Media is taking an arsenal of new sports programs to MIPCOM 2011 along with new episodes of the decorated children’s educational series Biz Kid$.

JMM is launching several high-action series at this year’s market including 13-part documentary series The Prize. The series shadows three athletes as they battle through the gauntlet of semi-professional and professional circuits in their respective sports. Our protagonists range from an upstart mixed martial arts fighter and a female competitive weightlifter to two aspiring boxing champions, one of each sex. The demographic appeal of the show casts a wide net and the failures and triumphs are gripping, adding in the occasional appearance of an industry legend. The show is available worldwide.

Similarly, one-off 3D documentary Mystery of the Mask gets inside the phenomena that is Mexican lucha libre, the high-flying masked wrestling craze that is sweeping across the Americas. Famous luchadores show viewers first hand that, in this proud tradition, the falls are real, the bruises painful and the scars earned. Keeping pace with the rest of JMM’s catalog, racing and automotive series like 3 Wide Life (26 x 30 mins) HDTV, Grassroots (13 x 60 mins) HDTV and Driving Sports (13 x 30 mins) HDTV bring racing big-names and the auto industry’s top products to the table.

The long-running PBS educational series Biz Kid$ returns, now totaling 65 HD episodes, continuing to educate children around the world about entrepreneurship, business, finance and good money habits. Beyond its overwhelming success in the US, the Emmy Nominated Series has found a home in the UK and parts of Asia, hoping to draw the attention of the world’s future business leaders.
